For mixing, I can adopt different workflows regarding the songs and the sound desired. 

Mixing on a full analog setup. Using an analog mixing desk and the outboard gear at the studio.

I can also mix in a hybrid setup, using the analog desk and the outboard gear of the studio in conjunction with the digital possibilities of a large collection of well-selected plugins and DAWs.

Or mixing entirely in the box, using my favorite plugins (avoiding as much as I can any unnatural digital artifacts).
